Cows, this print is a gold-toned kallitype with color pigment. Handmade alternative process photograph. This image shows a group of white cows relaxing in a symetrical pattern.
 
Print Process: This print is a gold-toned kallitype on a thick platinum rag paper with a digitally applied color pigment underprint. This print style has rich color with a reddish-brown kallitype print. Kallitype is an iron and silver-based photographic technique. During processing, this print was toned replacing the iron with more archivally stable gold. All of these printing steps have been done by hand by the artist.
 
11"x14" This size is a limited edition of 10.
